South Africa’s deputy security minister has told police how to tackle rampant crime in their cities: “Kill the bastards”, and do not worry about regulations. “You must kill the bastards if they threaten you or the community,” Susan Shabangu told a police forum in Pretoria. “I want to assure the police station commissioners and policemen and women that they have permission to kill these criminals. “You must not worry about the regulations. That is my responsibility. Your responsibility is to serve and protect,” he added. “I won’t tolerate any pathetic excuses for you not being able to deal with crime. You have been given guns, now use them. I want no warning shots. You have one shot and it must be a kill shot.” South Africa has one of the highest crime rates in the world, with more than 19,000 people murdered last year – more than 50 a day. Thabo Mbeki’s ANC government has long been accused of failing to tackle crime, but Jacob Zuma, the party’s populist new leader, has called it a “national emergency”. Many South Africans welcomed Miss Shabangu’s comments. “Hooray… finally,” wrote one website contributor. “Hopefully it will make those bastards think twice.” The opposition Democratic Alliance called for the deputy minister to be sacked.

Just think; the entire police force of this country have just been authorized to fucking shoot everyone they come across that they even THINK are participating in a crime, and have been told damn the rules, this chick is the one that makes them and she will adjust them accordingly… so on that note here is what I expect.

I expect some really kick-ass car chases, Die Hard-esque explosions and destruction of millions of dollars worth of property just to take out one criminal. That and all police officers need to be issued automatic weapons to suppliment their side arms, as well as a block of C4. Hell, while I am at it why not throw a couple hundred RPGs in for good measure? That’ll REALLY get that porperty damage to criminal ratio up there!

I need to fucking move there. This is going to be so cool.
